Grant-in-Aid Program

 

OUR MISSION

The Ocala Rotary Babe Ruth Baseball and our sponsors have partnered together in a program designed to bring the benefits of the national pastime to the young people of Marion County, Florida. This program was created to make it easier for boys and girls to play, learn about and experience baseball, thus seeking to foster self-confidence, involvement, teamwork, and fun among youth in Ocala and the surrounding areas.

The funds available for the Grant-in-Aid program are made possible through the generosity of our sponsors and donors in annual fundraising campaigns. The Ocala Rotary Babe Ruth Baseball believes a strong sense of ownership and pride is developed if the recipient has contributed to the cost of their involvement; therefore, applicants will be asked to pay some portion of the fees.

This program is intended for use by Marion County families who may need financial assistance in order for a child to participate in the Ocala Rotary Babe Ruth Baseball program. Our policy is to provide base fees only, to the extent they are needed. Depending on the number of requests we may not be able to provide assistance to everyone.
